Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective

This is a plain-language draft prepared without attorney review. It reflects Volerin's intended defaults, and the final refund rules are pending owner confirmation (tracked in OWNER_INPUTS.md). It will be finalized before launch and is not legal advice.

Volerin, operated by Cynosure LLC in South Florida, sells fixed-scope services with stated prices and delivery windows. Because the scope and price are agreed up front, our refund rules can be simple too. This page explains what happens if you cancel an order, when refunds apply, and how to request one.

The short version: if we have not started work, you get your money back. If we have started, you pay for the work actually performed. If a deliverable fails the acceptance criteria we agreed to in writing and we cannot fix it within a reasonable window, you get a refund for that deliverable.

This policy is written in plain language and is not legal advice. If anything here conflicts with a signed proposal or agreement for your specific engagement, the signed document controls.

Before work begins

You can cancel any fixed-scope order before you submit your completed intake and receive a full refund. Delivery clocks do not start until we have received all required inputs, so nothing has been scheduled or built at this stage.

This applies to all fixed-scope services: the GTM Workflow Audit ($750, 3 business days), the Automation Blueprint ($1,000, 4 business days), and the Conversion Page Sprint ($1,500, 5 business days).

After intake, before production starts

If you have submitted your intake but we have not yet started production work, you can still cancel for a full refund, minus any payment-processing fees we cannot recover from our payment provider.

We will tell you the exact amount of any non-recoverable processing fees before we finalize the refund, so there are no surprises.

After production starts

Once production work is underway, work already performed is billable. If you cancel mid-engagement, we will prorate your refund based on Volerin's reasonable assessment of the work completed to that point, and we will communicate that assessment to you in writing before processing the refund.

We keep engagements short by design, so in most cases the window between kickoff and delivery is only a few business days. If you need to cancel, tell us as early as you can — the earlier you cancel, the more of your payment is refundable.

After delivery

Every fixed-scope engagement includes written acceptance criteria that define what the deliverable must do. After delivery, the deliverable is measured against those criteria — not against expectations that were never written down.

If a deliverable fails its stated acceptance criteria, we will attempt to correct it. If we cannot correct the failure within a reasonable window, you receive a refund for that deliverable.

Disagreement with our recommendations, or a subjective preference for a different approach, is not a defect. Our work is AI-accelerated and human-verified, and we stand behind it — but a refund is for work that does not meet its written criteria, not for advice you decide not to follow.

GTM Systems Pilots

Pilots (from $3,500, scoped by proposal) begin with a 50% deposit. That deposit covers the design and build phases as laid out in your proposal, and it is applied against work performed in those phases.

Each pilot includes a correction period, defined in the proposal. The correction period covers in-scope defects — things the pilot was supposed to do, per the proposal, that do not work as specified. It does not cover new scope, feature additions, or changes of direction; those are handled as new work.

If you cancel a pilot partway through, the same proration rules apply as for fixed-scope services: work already performed is billable, and any refund is calculated against the deposit and payments made, with our assessment communicated in writing.

Managed Systems

Managed Systems (from $1,500/month, available to existing clients only) is a monthly service. You can cancel at any time before your next billing period begins, and you will not be charged again.

The current billing period is not prorated. If you cancel mid-period, service continues through the end of the period you have already paid for, and no partial refund is issued for the remainder of that period.

How to request a refund or cancellation

Send your request in writing to the contact email listed on this site. Include your order reference (from your invoice or order confirmation) and a brief description of what you are requesting and why.

We will respond within 5 business days with either a resolution or a clear next step. If a refund is approved, we will tell you the amount, how it was calculated, and when to expect it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Email the contact address listed on this site
  • Include your order reference
  • Describe what you are requesting and why
  • Expect a response within 5 business days

Chargebacks and good faith

If something has gone wrong, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your card issuer. We resolve refund questions in good faith, and a direct conversation is almost always faster than a dispute process.

No refund from Volerin is ever contingent on you withdrawing, editing, or withholding an honest review or honest feedback. You are free to say what you think about our work, and that has no bearing on whether you are entitled to a refund under this policy.
